Hello Julian!
I've a text box with several hyperlinks in it and somewhat text (let's say 400 words). When I edit the text and leave the box and want to re-enter the same text box, Antenna refuse to go in edit mode. I need to reopen the file the re-edit again... If wished I can send you the example.
Before you edit any hyperlink, you select and choose for example with the right mouse button to edit the hyperlink. After editing that hyperlink, you return to the text edit mode but you loose the selected hyperlink. This is a very annoying when you work with lists of hyperlinks that you want to edit because you forget the las t edited one. Any possibility in near future to retain the selected item?
Regards,
Bruno

I saw that one too - for a work around to to main>text on the left hand menu with the offending box selected and click in it.
The edit menu for the box pops up.
Its worthy of comment that if you have a text box on the extreme right of the screen the edit box pops up offscreen and you cannot use it.
Would it be better to have the edit box to the left of the text box it belongs to?
Still a d**n good program tho!

Hello Bruinedebeer, Englesos,
Thanks for reporting the problem - yes, please could you email me an example .ata file with such an offending text box so I can take a look at it here. Which version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you running?
If you do ever find you can't double-click a particular text box then Englesos suggestion to click the 'Text' property in the Object Properties palette should work.
Regarding your second comment Englesos : Do you mean have the formatting buttons switch sides 'intelligently' depending which window edge the text box is nearest to... or perhaps alternatively the buttons could be moved to the mini-toolbar at the top instead... would that be too far away from the text box itself?
Cheers, Stormdance

The "intelligent editbox" is a nice idea, I was thinking just to lock it on the left hand side but the intelligent idea( ) is much better. I really like the proximity of the edit box to the text and I would regret this feature changing. If I can persuade the edit problem to reoccur I'll send you an example, but I think its any really big text field that does it. I'll have a play and let you know.

Hello Julian and Englesos,
I've just sent you (Julian) an example of a text box by mail so that you can analyse it and find a fix for it.
I also like the idea of the "intelligent editbox", Englesos.
Julian, do you have an idea when the following feature will be available ?
"When you rollover a button, there is no possibility to activate a third picture AND A TEXT BOX explaining that third picture. In other words, a rollover that activates more than one picture/text item?"

Hello Julian and Englesos, ........Julian, do you have an idea when the following feature will be available ? "When you rollover a button, there is no possibility to activate a third picture AND A TEXT BOX explaining that third picture. In other words, a rollover that activates more than one picture/text item?" I think for a text box we have the "alt" tag already - and Netobjects Fusion offers that multi-image idea and in the last eight years I have never really used it. For me it would be nice if on rollout the image was optionally reset to its original state or maybe (since Julian might be in there playing with the code ) a third state for the same target image. I have been doing this manually with an invisible rollover image that resets the target to its original state (see http://www.abyss2.com) but this would be neater As a compromise perhaps a triggered target image could trigger another target image in a kind of cascade effect so, in theory, we would both have our options open. What do you think, Julian?

These are all good ideas, and I can think of several ways they might be implemented - I've added them to the wish list ...but since there's so much to do, I'm not going to start making promises about when future features might appear - way too risky! If you're feeling adventurous you may want to experiment with something along the lines of the following Events code... On-mouseout: picture7.src='images/resetpic.jpg' Notes: picture7 must be lowercase and unique (nothing else named picture7 on the page) and 'resetpic.jpg' must appear physically on a page somewhere in the web site.
