I have a script called Sitelok, and it created a database, now I want a login button, so I created the button, and put it in the site.theme page so I show up on every page. When you click the login button, the login page pops up, fill it out, and click login, it all works, and goes to the index.htm page like it should.
I put the Login button on it's own layer, then I put a Logout Button on it's own layer. I created an event so that when you click the Login button, that layer disappears, and the Logout Button Layers appears. When the Logout button is clicked, the event will hide the logout layer, and bring the login layer visible, but when you return to the index page the login layer becomes visible again, and the logout button is now invisible. Question How do you make the button invisible until the Logout Button is clicked no matter what page your on. and stays hidden until you click the Logout button. Does that make sense?
Thanks Michael

Hi Michael,
Not directly an answer to your question, but it might help... When users have logged into your Sitelok controlled pages, they don't really have to log out: As soon as they close the page / exit the site they will automatically be logged out and have to login again when they want to revisit the page.

Thanks Loes, but I think the way it works is you have to close the Browser, and then your logged out, if you close the page, then come back to it, your still logged in, you can try it here, if you close the page, then come back to it your still logged in. If you close the Browser, then come back to this site you have to login again.
I have a login button on the page, and when I set the event to have the login button disappear on click, and the logout button appear. Then when you click on the Logout button it disappears, and the login button reappears. For some reason when you click on the Login button, the login page appears, and the logout button also appears, but the then disappears, and the login button appears again. I need to figure out how to keep in invisible after it is clicked. I know it can be done in PHP, just not sure how to do it in HTML.

Its funny, I set the event for both the login, and the logout buttons. Right now both buttons are visible on the page. If you click the login button the login page comes up. If you login, then click the logout button it will disappear like it should, but its not working for the login button.
If I hide the Logout button it doesn't work at all Never comes up. Here's how I set it up in the event.
Login Button On Click [#login].style.visibility='hidden'; [#logout].style.visibility='visible';
Logout Button On Click [#logout].style.visibility='hidden'; [#login].style.visibility='visible';
Seems like it worked in an older version of Antenna.

OK I got it all solved, had to do it differently, had to rename all my pages from htm, to PHP,then I could use some php code to do the trick. Also was able to get a user first name to show above the logout button. and by clicking their name open up the preface page, and list all there download so they can download them again if needed. It looks Great. www.electraink.comPS This forum doesn't seem as busy as it use to be, a lot of unanswered question? Regards Michael

Solution sounds good! Forum is indeed really quiet. I try to check in every one or two days to see if there's anything I can do to help anyone. I believe Frank does too. In my opinion not many "open" questions lately, except the spanish one.
