I haven't even looked into it but does anybody know, off the top of their head, how to set up a event timer that would show a hidden layer after a few seconds of the page being opened? I'm sure I've done it before with events but its been awhile. Cheers, Frank

Gave it quick look see... I can use the the slideTo or a fadeTo event on a on page load. If anybody has other ideas I'm open to suggestions. Cheers, Frank

Is there a way to have a layer, with all objects in it fade in at onload? I can add each object on the layer to the event but don't see how to add the whole layer to the even.

I can lower the layer opacity to zero no problem... but the events doesn't fadeTo the layer. I can add each object to to a fadeTo and it works, but the layer as a whole doesn't? Probably doing something wrong. Frank

Hi Frank,
Antenna's layer slider calculates opacity per object. I can fade down a layer like this:
[#layer 2].style.transition='all 2s 3s'; [#layer 2].style.opacity=0.2;
...that code in the page Load event starts a 2 second fade after a 3 second delay. Give that a try. But what about fade in? Maybe set the layer to hidden in Antenna - then when the page loads up assign zero opacity to the layer, unhide it, then fade in?
Cheers, J

After a bit of experimenting, the following worked for me in Edge (and IE)
[#layer 2].style.position='relative'; [#layer 2].style.opacity=0; [#layer 2].style.visibility='visible';
setTimeout(function(){ [#layer 2].style.transition='all 2s 3s'; [#layer 2].style.opacity=0.5; },100);
...placed in the page Load event. Hide the layer in Antenna's Layers palette (but keep it at 100%). Quick explanation: Relative is a hack for IE. Zero opacity is applied to the layer, just before the layer is unhidden. After 100ms the timer function runs to perform the 2 second fade in, which includes a 3 second delay.
Cheers, J
