The connection error is #10060 I am trying to publish a sub domain to my website. The domain is working as published under 3.4. I published this subdomain previously with antenna 3.4. I'm using 6.2 now which is all new to me. For a web address, when publishing, I am using my domain name http://www.example.com. For an FTP Publishing address I am using http://www.hamradio.example.com. For a Public Folder I am using /ham (my remote folder). These worked for me in the past but the new nomenclature, FTP Publishing address is confusing me. Also what is Host Login Name? My previous 3.4 ata file filled that in for me but I don't know if that is right. Do I need to use https in the domain namne? Do I need remote folder? Do I need Host Login Name?
Thanks,
Bill A

Hi Bill, I don't know whether I can help you with this but I will try. Your domain name is as you have: www.example.com. Your FTP publishing address could be your domain name plus/(and an address) or could be an entirely different address, depending on your host providers requirements. The public folder address should be supplied by your host provider. In my case they do not use a public folder. The host login name is the name that your host provider gave you to login and normally has a password as well. As far as the https is concerned. That is only used if your host supplier requires a secure connection. As far as your web address is concerned. I don't think you need the http://. I hope that helps a little bit. Prem

Hi Billa, I use sub domanins and when I publish into them I just use the name of the sub domain in front of the main domain. eg If I have a domain name of www.graham.com.au I would publish to the /public_html/ folder using my ftp details given by my host. If I have a sub domain under the main domain called trucks I would still use the same ftp details but my publish folder would be /public_html/trucks/ hope that helps Graham
