Can someone check this site on a smartphone and desktop 174.120.106.188/~grahamc/samples/wwcc2013/before I put it up live. I have had a few good comments form the site owners on the smartphone menu how it works Thanks Graham

Nice job Graham (I tried it in IE9, Chrome and FF Desktop rock solid) The color scheme and feel seem to be spot on.. Good use of the drop down panel (login) I like the large background image, translucent navigation ... it all works well together. The nivo seems a little fast for me... Also might want to add a persist (?), random or switching the order of the nivo images on the pages would stop it from simply looping back to the beginning every time.
Wonderful site.

Thanks Frank,
The nivo slider is set to Random Start I think but it doesn't appear to work. Random effects works ok though. Not sure what you mean by persist (?) I cant find any settings or info on that one on the nivo site.

I've never been able to find how to set a "persist" or "persistent" which uses cookies to know which images have show and when you click the second page it keeps cycling thru instead of reloading. I'm sure jquery can do it... I just can't find how.
need to add the random start this works in 2.7 + I tested it and it did work on my sample?: randomStart:true,
or you might want to set a different start on each page...more predictable
startSlide:0, // Set starting Slide (0 index)
0 is the first image, 1 is the second and so on...
Hope this helps,
Frank

I notice you do have the randomStart:true, ... its seems to be working ok from what I see. but you still might want total control by setting a different startSlide: on each page.

it actually runs from the site.theme page. Just makes it so much easier and you only need to use one slider per site instead of multiple sliders per page.

I had not noticed that you had it in the body... Works well.

It is very gentle and pleasing. I love the soft relaxing colors, the nivo looks good too.

Abbie hows the menu on your smartphone Sent from my GT-I9300 using proboards very creative... I like it a lot. The contact button is too small for the text, the C and t are off side. the mobile site plays nicely Is that done with antenna events? or code you wrote

All done with antenna events. The menu buttons are behind the main one and use the slideto event. It's pretty cool
