Hi, One more problem. In regard to my last posting. I have created on my layers 2 buttons that i would like to make into hyperlinks. I have tried to create a transparent panel and overlay it and then make this panel a hyperlink. But it will not work. if i move the transparent panel off the layer button it will work. I really would like to make this work it would save me hours of work. I look forward to hearing from you. robert Fibronet

Hi Robert,
What you're doing should work - but I'm wondering if you've hit the same problem you mentioned in your other post. You need to make sure the panel is overlaid on top of the button, and not hidden underneath it.
You can test this by making the panel opaque for a moment - if it's overlaid on top of the button you will see that the opaque panel masks/covers the button. If not, then you'll still see the button.
Note also that you can set a Hyperlink on a button directly - you don't actually need to overlay a separate panel.

Here is the problem,
I am using this template for each page of my products. every product the hyperlink will be different. So when i create a new page an then include the layer. I cannot create the hyperlink directly because I am not able to click on the button to create a hyperlink.
This is why I chose to create a transparent button yo overlay on the original button.
robert
P.s.the same goes for the button I am trying to put text on. I create a new page and include the layer (same layer as hyperlink) and I want to put my part number on the top in this button. But everytime I put the text box over the button it disappears. i have tried moving to the front, moving forward. Nothing works.

Hi Robert,
Moving individual objects to the front or back applies to the current layer only: For example if you create two buttons on the same layer and overlap them slightly you can change which appears on top using the Move to Front/Forward/Back/To Back facility.
You can do the same with layers - i.e. change the layer order - using the Up and Down buttons in the layer palette. Imagine the layers as a stack of tracing paper or celluloid.
My guess is that you currently have your Include layer at the top of the stack, whereas you probably want it at the bottom of the stack. If so, select the Include layer in the Layers palette, and click the Down button to move it down the stack. Or alternatively click the layer containing your text/panel and click the Up button to move it up the stack - so that the layer containing your text/panel is above the layer containing the button.
