I would like to see a bit more structure for this board if possible. You could even skip FAQ if we have enough branches in here and people should place relevant headlines . Rampy

Hi Rampy, Sounds good in theory (and for a large forum it does become necessary to branch into different sections), but several problems typically occur, here's a few: - Time is spent moving many threads from the 'wrong' branch to the 'correct' branch instead of answering posts. Understandably many visitors do not know which branch a given question should be posted in ...or don't have time to search for the correct branch. It's also easy to get lost in the branches if you're not so experienced with forum navigation. - Questions that experienced visitors would be glad to answer go unseen because no one searches through other branches looking for posts. - The same question (already answered) gets asked in different branches - so has to be answered many times. ...There's more but that's enough Summary: Too much structure can quickly become a management nightmare! I'm going for the 'keep it simple' approach for now. Cheers, Stormdance

Thanks Julian !
You have presented some good reasons "not to" ... especially the "asked before" can happen in severall branches ...
See ya.
