Whenever I try to "Publish" (upload) a large video file (15MB) it does not complete, ending with a "Session Closed" error. I can upload files of this size using my web host's file management tool, so I know it is possible to FTP a file of this size. So I have two questions:
1- Why does this fail, and if it is an FTP timeout problem, how cna I resolve it? I would think that Antenna would take just as long as my host's file management tool.
2- I could get around this by always using my host's file management tool to FTP such large files, but Antenna does not like it when this file is to used as QuickTime link on a page -- it expects the file to be imported and then published by Antenna. It does not like it when I point to a .MP4 file when it is already on my host -- it wants to find it as an imported media file saved in my .ATA project.
Any solutions? Thanks!

Hi Mynameisjim20,
Welcome to the forum. There's a few possibilities here.
1. If your host file management tool is an online tool (i.e. you upload via a web page) then it may have a different file size or time out limit set to when you connect via FTP. You'd need to check with your hosting provider to see if this is the case. In theory uploading via Antenna should take the same amount of time as uploading via any standard FTP software.
2. Make sure you are uploading to the correct folder. Some hosts require you to FTP your files to a remote subfolder (e.g. /public_html/). If so, make sure you've specified the correct remote folder on Antenna's Advanced settings tab just before you click the Publish button.
If none of the above helps you could take a look at the FTP log (Show Details in Antenna) to see if it provides a clue as to why the session was closed.
If you get really stuck and want to point to an .mp4 file already on your host (i.e. not imported into Antenna) then you can do this by prefixing your Antenna link with 'ext:' - short for 'external' e.g.
Hyperlink | ext:mymp4.mp4 ...or... Hyperlink | ext:/movies/mymp4.mp4
Cheers, Stormdance
