I created a gradient button and i dropped a picture on top and some text how can get a hyperlink to work on anywhere you put your mouse. Right now if you putt your mouse on the picture or text it will not work on if you put your mouse over the gradient box. i would like to have the whole box including the picture a hyperlink. Can I hyperlink to a pdf file by dragging and dropping or do i need to know the name of the file and key it in manually ? I really need your help !!! robert

Hi Robert,
There's a couple of ways to do this:
1. Each object has it's own Hyperlink property - so you could set the same Hyperlink on the gradient, the picture and the text individually. Whichever object the mouse cursor is pointed to the link would then be the same. A bit time consuming though.
2. Alternatively you could add a new Panel object to the page and position it over the top of the gradient, picture and text so that it covers them all. Add your link to this Panel object only. Finally switch off the Panel Backcolour property to make it transparent. This technique is covered in more detail on page 40 of the User Guide (Panels & Creating Image Map Hotspots).
I've covered your PDF question in another thread. Hope that helps.
Cheers, Stormdance
