When using a master template and I create a new page and add layer. I would like to put text on top of one of one part of the template.
I cannot seem to get the text to go on top it seems to go behind and when i tell it to move forward it does not, it still stays hidden behnd. How do i put text on an template that was brought in as a layer.
i am lost.

Hi Robert,
Create a second master template page for the foreground - e.g. include_me2.htm - and include this above (in front of) your other layers. So, for example, the layers on your index.htm page may look something like this:
Layer 3 - Include (your foreground master) Layer 2 (contains whatever you added to index.htm) Layer 1 - Include (your main background master)
...the layer numbers may be different, but you get the idea - the layers are built upwards background to foreground.

Hi Robert,
Assuming you've already created a second template page for your master foreground items (include_me2.htm)...
Open your new page and add a third layer as shown in the post above (Layer 3 - an Include Layer) and point it to include_me2.htm

Thanks got the idea BUT what I am doing is creating different pages for my different products so every page has a different title or header i want to put this on the template in the blue section just above the white open area.
every page that i create will have a different header, so creating another layer would this be the most effective way ?

Hi Robert,
Sorry - I think I misunderstood what you were trying to achieve.
If the text is going to be different on each page then obviously you don't want it on a master page - so ignore my previous post.
Just add a text box to your pages as usual and position it wherever you want. Make sure you've got the Standard layer containing your text in front of the Include layer so that the text appears in front of the master/template design, not the other way round.
