I am adding a textbox to my page and want a Copyright symbol ( (C) but then the real symbol) in it. My font is verdana and according to my ascii table the symbol should be under Alt-184, but it isn't there... How can I obtain this symbol, and others, in a normal textfont?

Hi Albertvm,
Best place to get special characters is from the Windows Character Map utility (usually installed with Windows). In Windows 2000 it's under Start->Accessories->System Tools.
Setting the font to Verdana and the Character Set (Encoding) to Unicode reveals that the © Copyright symbol has a keyboard shortcut of Alt-0169
Hold down the Alt key then type 0169 on your keyboard numeric keypad, and finally release the Alt key. Alternatively you can copy and paste the character directly from the Character Map utility.
Cheers, Stormdance
