Can't seem to get images,or javascript to show in tables. Sure it is a file problem but have tried everythinhg. I made a table with javascript and sliced the table and used the extra menu/custom html....the extra/menu javascript....edited filenames to the web root,or to folder slices....copied and pasted in the body of my document. I used the media import to import the images to the rootfolder,or slices folder. I have either made a folder named slices, or added the images directly to the root folder with no luck. Will use just one image as example cause there are so many, and lets say the image are in the webdesignslc root folder.
<td valign="top" align="left" width="269" height="60"><a href="http://www.webdesignslc.com"><img name="slices_C1_R1"
src="C:/Program_Files/Antenna/webdesignslc/slices_C1_R1.jpg" width="269" height="60" border="0" </a></td>
If I ommit the c:/program filename, and check the properties of the image in preview it is in a temp/build/slices folder.??
Other than this the program seems easy to use and not having any problems except with tables, and javascript Please could use some help here....thanks

Hi Satrider,
Welcome to the forum. Solution: You need to use relative paths when specifying the images. Absolute paths won't work because your web pages and images will be in a completely different place once published. To put it another way: there is no such thing as drive C: on the internet!
If your image is in the same folder as your web page then the code with a relative path would simply be:
<img src="slices_C1_R1.jpg">
If your images are in an 'images' subfolder relative to your web page then the code would be:
<img src="images/slices_C1_R1.jpg">
If your 'images' folder is up a level from your web page then the code would be:
<img src="../images/slices_C1_R1.jpg">
Only use the underscore '_' character if there really are underscores in your file name.
Note also that Antenna only publishes images that are actually in use on a web page somewhere in your site. If you specify an image in custom HTML code Antenna won't know about this. You can solve this simply by creating a dummy web page (a page that your visitors will never see) and drop any 'unused' images you want to force to be published on this dummy page.
One other thought: unlike traditional html editors, Antenna uses pixel accurate positioning - wherever you place an image on the page that's exactly where it will appear in the web browser. Your situation is likely unusual since you mention you are using Javascript to create a table, but usually you do not need to use tables, paths or code for positioning images in Antenna - just use Picture Frames instead and Antenna will take care of everything for you.
Cheers, Stormdance

Thanks for the quick reply....problem is I have tried all that you suggest and will not display the images. When I check the properties of an image from the browser preview the image location is file//C:/Program_Files/Antenna/temp/build/Images/slices, and not Images/slices_XXXX. Yes there are underscores in the src. The reason I am using javascrip is that I have created the header in another program, and made slices. I have to use the table, and the javascript it creates to run the mouseover. I have a copy of the header without the slices, and it will display on the page using the picture frame with no problem Just baffled here, and know it is something real simple. I have used this process many times in my html editor with no problem

Hi Satrider, Here's a working Antenna example of images in a table : Table Example(when you open the example, open the 'force in use' page first, before opening index.htm) Perhaps comparing this to your own code may help? Other suggestions/possible alternatives: You can create and position multiple hotspots over an image directly in Antenna - as seen in the Welcome Example. Antenna also has it's own rollover control (RollPicture). Cheers, Stormdance

Hey Stormdance..!
I never did get the tables figured out, but I havn't looked at the examples you posted yet. I did find a workaroud by deleting the text on my header then adding the text directly to the header on the master page,and using the roll features instead of adding javascript....pretty Kool I say..!! ..;D If the page loads slow will have to go back to slicing, and figure it out..
Anyway have some more questions that I will make a new post for others to see.
Just wanted to say thanks for the great program....the forum, and fast answers....
