I know not everyone wants/needs it, but i am GENUINELY interested if any others have tried it, and/or had any success with it ? (Re: the 'USBWebserver' (and the now included 'PaperCut' SMTP server)). I ask this only because i do not want to lead anyone astray! for something functional and useful to many. I don't bite!! xx If i don't know what problems were encountered then i never know. Tell me if 'that was crap', or 'i didn't understand', as my life is about passing on knowledge and nothing else!!! Glenn.

I personally simply make a test folder on the clients server. That way I know right out of the box if I will have problems on that server. My reasoning being, even placing it on my server (or a desktop environment ) doesn't guarantee it will work on theirs. Migrating it over when I'm done can be as easy as a redirect or uploading it to the default directory. Cheers, Frank

Not needed in my case. I only have my own websites, and test on duplicate pages. When done testing, I copy the content of the duplicate pages to the original pages and delete the duplicates. Loes

Hey... That's fine Frank & Loes... thanks. Was only asking as Graham can not get it to work, for what ever reason to be determined. And i didn't want to post something unusable by some/others. (Though I can't fault it).
Just out of interest, (Frank), you state that.... I personally simply make a test folder on the clients server.... and from Loes.... ... i test on duplicate pages. When done testing, I copy the content.....
However the whole purpose of this exercise (apart from running true PHP server-sides) is to simply copy file(s) from directory-A (exported file(s)), to directory-B (the server) on your hard-drive and immediately test, without having to upload to the net at all. (With the likes of 'FileZilla' etc...) Also with the ability to test email scripts etc, without having to be actually 'on-line' and to a 'real' customer.
But i hear where you are both coming from !! xx I just wanted to know if it worked for others.... THAT'S ENOUGH OF THAT !!!
To LOES...... I've been bogged down for days, creating all new custom Embroidery files for Susie, (my partner) for the majority of our local Australian 'AFL' Football Teams !!! (not that i'm into it). She's getting tons of orders for them !!!

(Been offline again for a few days....) To Loes... Yes it is !! xx although starting with the main ones, depending on her order priority. (Creating different versions too, depending on taste/requirement etc.) (By 'local' i mean Australian AFL, as opposed to worldwide teams !! xx) I used to at least 'partially' auto-digitize at first and the extensively edit, but is easier now to MOSTLY re-create from scratch, (sometimes with a Bgnd to manually Bezier-trace) and then properly manually optimize stitch-styles, pull/push comp, colours, jumps, runs... Hope you have a great day/night..... Glenn
