Release Notes
Scrollbar colour styling
- Older versions of Antenna offered scrollbar colouring, but only for Internet Explorer. Scrollbar styling is now reintroduced in a simplified 3 colour form, better suited to the flat scrollbar styling in modern browsers, and is now compatible with both IE and (new) Chrome!
- This is available on both global and individual styles via the Styles palette Fx tab.
Avoiding centre shift
- When navigating between a short and a long webpage, you could see page centring shift very slightly to accommodate the presence or absence of the vertical window scrollbar. To improve this, scrollbar space is now reserved on short pages too, so page centring remains consistent when navigating between pages of differing length.
Visited links
- The web is a moving target. In days gone by it was possible to style visited links with a decoration or background image that differed from the unvisited link. This had security implications, and all mainstream web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome etc.) have removed this capability. Since the visited underline and visited backimage properties are redundant and no longer serve any purpose, they have been removed from the Styles palette. It is still possible to change the colour of a visited link.
Text editor
- The Select All shortcut key (Ctrl+A) should be working again.
- It should be easier to apply a new font over old font styling from previous versions, without having to click the Remove Formatting button first.
Smoother Menu closing
Other changes- Menus set to open-on-top now remain on top until the closing animation is complete.
- Minor behind-the-scenes tweaks to the YouTube Video object and also Menu & Quick Button events.
- Increased the default font size for better readability in new blank projects.
