Hey Cory, your the only person who can make me like lime green, or any green for that matter, love the new look, your phone number has scroll bars from here, it is a skype related thing, those with skype see the phone number in skype appearance and the phone text box has to be twice the normal size to lose the bars.

Thanks for the heads-up Abbie. I'll change it. You know me Frank, it's gotta be GREEN! OK changed the phone number box, and added a little dirt to the background. It just looked too clean for the center image.

I finally have enough of the web site done to publish. I work for a non-profit organization. Jobs Housing and Recovery. Web design isn't my main function or exactingly my expertise, but beings it was something I had done at home for myself and knew something about it... I got elected to do the one for work. What the Director wanted was something without a lot of clutter. Didn't want a lot of graphics. Something straightforward. The basic design she picked out and the rest was up to me. A few of the links don't go anywhere yet, I'm waiting to hear back from some staff on what it should say. But any help on how I can make it better, things to add, things to change, etc. while keeping within the Directors minimalist guidelines would be appreciated. www.jhrbaltimore.orgThanks

ddandb Your contact info has scroll bars both vertical and horizontal. you need to make the text box larger and apply padding of at lease 5, this determins how far awaw from the dege of the text box the text stays, you might want to change the color of your font on mouse over, or click, as white is hard to see. pretty good first site, it is uncluttered. I would add a content panel with 1 pxl border to encase the content, this makes it neat and tidy, however many dont use 1.

You're right.. whits sure is hard to see. Will change that. After a while you just need another pair of eyes to spot things.

by content panel, I should have explained, sry, I mean add a panel to your page, give it a border, usually solid, 1 px, choose bordre color, then apply the style "normal" put this on its own layer drag the layer to the bottom of your layer tree. make it the widyh of your page, and height to contain all of your content, this gives you a defining boundary, or you can create the panel sa 700 pxls high and 1 pxl wide and place it on both sides of your page, like here www.webdesign-testdrive.comor here www.koc13987.com/index2.htm With side navigation it is tricky to get it lined up and sized. what is on a page will appear overtop of anything on site.theme. abbie

Looking good! You could also move the content panel about 10 pixels down. That way the website is sort of floating and doesn't stick to the menu bars of the browser window.
Thanks for the "content panel" idea Abbie!
