ARGHHHH....
Hi Graham.... (and Frank)...
I tried all you said Graham, and firstly got rid of the 'dual' links to the "success/error" pages,
which at least got rid of the double "//" business....
In regards to your info Graham....
Things to check:
1. Php version on server
2. Clients junk or spam folder
3. Does the email address your using work direct without a form from the site
4. Put your own email in its place and see if anything arrives to your inbox, this will tell you the server is fine.
1: The 'Crazy-Domains' server handles all versions of .PHP perfectly.
2: YES!! since then, the emails ARE showing up in the 'Junk' folder.... (testing with my own emails).
3: Yes, ALL works fine using DIRECT email links, from the site or from where-ever else...
4: Have done that, Graham, as per item-2 results.
The emails ARE now showing up, but in the 'junk' folder, as per your information....
When testing, you said....
....also added an email field on the form so you can reply to the site visitors email and called it from,
this also sets the from address in the inbox when it arrives, otherwise it says webform@mysite.com.....
Depending on the host if you don't set the from field it will send it straight to spam or junk....
I have since discovered that to be true Graham, but I can't seem to do what you suggested ?
I created a new 'Form' element, called Email, under "To:", and set it's "Field Type" as 'email', and the
default 'Text Content' as.... 'info@bunburywindoor.com'
(And temp changed the 'Recipient' to 'Recipient 2' being set to myself.... 'glennsprigg@live.com.au')
The emails still now WORK, but come through to the 'Junk Mail' folder, and labelled as from "webform@".
I guess i'm a bit unsure then what you meant by....
....added a email field on the form so you can reply to the site visitors email and called it from.....
I'm obviously doing something wrong hahahaha....
Graham, you also mentioned....
I had a Antenna user not so long ago liase with me over the exact issue you are having and
it turned out to be something with the php ini file on the server......
Is this something I should be aware about, or understand ?? (I know generally what an .ini file is...)
As for the mentions of Frank (and yourself Graham) as to the utilization of 'Templates', it would seem
like a cleaner way to go !.... and maybe myself, and others! could be "re-ejurmicated!!' haha....
I'll get back to what I know, which is graphics, and JavaScript.....
(PHP... Pretty Horrendous Programming..... Server-Side... "Something Some-people know)
Only joking !!!!!
Now time for a few tunes on the Guitar before I get into trouble....
