Hi everyone,
I know this has been asked and answered before, but apparently I need step by step beginner instructions how to delete all button styles and files from my website.
Here's what I did: 1. From each and every page, including the site.theme page I selected and deleted all buttons that were made with Button Lab. 2. I found that the only way to go into Button lab was to create a new button, so I did that. Double-clicked on it to open Button Lab and selected each button style, right-clicked and chose "Delete from Library". Repeated until all styles were gone. 3. Then, still in Button Lab, I deleted all captions. 4. I saved the button style (that was the only way to really get rid of the captions) 5. Then I deleted the button I had to create in step 2 to get into the button lab.
Now when I want to publish the page, Antenna wants to upload lots and lots of button images (oncaption down, hover, off etc). Why? And how do I fix this?
I must be overlooking something simple here.
Thanks for any pointers.

Thanks, Graham. That was it - just clicking on the little mouse icon and choosing Delete button style!! Publishing has now removed those unused 354 files. Thanks again.

All buttons were nicely deleted when I published my project after I used Graham's instructions in October.
Now in Antenna 5 I have changed one page of my website (not even created any button) and I see that hundreds and hundreds of buttons are uploaded in the Core folder.
How do I get rid of that? I don't have any Antenna-made buttons on any of the pages. I can create a new button, but when right-clicking on the mouse icon for that button, the "Delete button Style" is not active (probably because there are no button styles).
Puzzled here. I know I could go into my website using FTP and then delete the buttons folder, but I am curious why they appeared in the first place. Did I do something to cause it, or is it something that version 5 did?

Hi Loes, I tested a blank ata in 5.0 to see if it added buttons...nope. Added a quick button to see if it added a ton of buttons...nope. Then added a button it only added the 5 button stages I made... could it have been something left over and transferred to the 5.0?
Strange, Frank

It must be. I have looked at each and every page, opened all layers and I cannot find any button objects. When I look in the Core > Buttons folder via FTP there are 5 subfolders, each with lots and lots of numbered up, hover, over etc. png files. I downloaded a couple of them and they show buttons I used years ago. So they must be inside my Antenna file and I will just have to go back in and search for those pesky gremlins Loes

Loes,
I hope you don't mind me saying so but I would start with a new website and copy across what you wish to keep. I know it's a big job if you have a large site but it saves deleting something that you wanted. That is what I have done with one of my website and am still doing with my own personal website which is quite a large one.
Only an idea.
