The raised menus are showing a thick black line around them. Instead of being raised. Horizontal lines are approximately 3 times as thick as they should be. And the web page takes ages to load. This is with Windows 8.1 + all updates and Windows Explorer, set to compatibility mode. If the web page is loaded from the website. All displays correctly and loads very quickly. A web page attached for reference. Prem. Attachments:

It's showing correctly in FireFox, thin lines and raised menu. Strange I see your issue on my windows exp. 11. Might want to try something.. On the panel line don't add a border to the panel.. just background color only. If that doesn't change anything. make a panel STYLE..called LINE and make the BG back color RED (no border nothing else) apply the new LINE style to the lines that are two thick see if they get thin. If they do make it the color you want.
With the menu button... try removing the border color on the style... see if the raised look comes back.
If nothing works I got nothing more for you...

Thanks for your ideas Frank.
The code I am using for the lines, is straightforward HTML.<hr size=1 width=880 color=#808080></hr>.
The menus have the border style set as outset, the border width set to 2, the border colour not set and the padding set to 0. The menu button is the standard button when you click the menu tab. If I tried to change any of the standard settings. All I get is a flat button.
In Explorer 11. I have to have the compatibility button set. Otherwise it comes out the same as the picture.
I rather suspect that antenna is calling Explorer in its default settings and not as set by the user. In this case "compatibility mode." This causes it to take as much as five minutes to load. This tends to force you to publish the page with the consequential possible loss of required information. If it does not publish correctly.

Hi Prem
Compatibility Notes The size attribute of <hr> is not supported in HTML5. Use CSS instead.
CSS syntax:
<hr style="height:1px; color:#808080; width:880px" align="left"/>

Hi Graham,
Thanks for that. That has done the trick on the lines. There I was thinking I new HTML inside-out. Looks like I've got to try and learn it all over again. Never mind.
That just leaves the menus with the thick black line around them and looking flat.
Thanks once again best regards

This is getting ridiculous. I have not yet found a way around the flat menu problem and the thick black border. The menu buttons are supposed to be raised. They work in Internet Explorer 11, with the compatibility mode set, but they will not work in antenna when you press the preview button. The website does finally load, but it takes around 15 minutes. I do not know whether it's me doing something wrong or antennas standard menu tab is not compatible.
I'm at a loss.

Good news is that the menu outset looks right in FF and IE8.. but not on my IE11 .. You probably have some script? and/or link slowing it down. I'd take Graham up on it... he's good at finding script stuff.

Hi Graham and Frank,
Graham, I have sent you the ATA file.
Frank, yes, it used to work in all versions of Internet Explorer up until IE11. Internet Explorer is the only browser I use. I don't see the point of loading my disc up with other browsers just for developing a website, although I probably should do.
Once again I thank you both for the help you have given me.

Hi Graham,
Thank you for looking at the file for me. Sorry for having to send you an earlier version. When I saw your last post. I had already changed the menus over to buttons, so there was no point in sending you that version, otherwise you would not have seen the black outline and flat menu.
On my own website (g0dcp.co.uk). I have two drop-down menus. So what I shall probably do is use the buttons and put the drop down part of the menu in a separate page as I have done on my angling society's website (hhasoc.org.uk/archive pages and/members pages).
Once again thank you for everybody's help.
Prem.
