Freeform with dual language

I have a website that has english and a french version using the language feature in Antenna. I cannot get freeform to work on the french side. Instead of sending the form it goes to the English home page and the form is not sent, it works fine when on the English version, sends form and goes to a "Thank you" page as it should.

Can anybody help me please?

I am still struggling with this problem that the freeform works in the english but when switched to the french it does not work. Is it possible that the file atrributes need to be be change in the french folder for the php to work?
